Tea infusers are called a lot of names like teaballs, tea makers, and even tea eggs. These are actually devices that are used for holding loose tea leaves, typically in cups while brewing. The basic configuration of tea infusers are perforated metal containers, although other tea infusers take the form of covered spoons for holding the tea leaves.
