My favorite brand of Earl Grey
I’ve enjoyed Earl Grey tea for over 30 years, and this Bentley’s is my favorite brand so far. (I’ve tried lots.) Earl Grey is one of those tea varieties that people seem either to love or hate. If you hate Earl Grey, this won’t change your mind because it’s the essence of the distinctive floral scent and taste of the Earl Grey variety. If you already love E.G., you’re in for a treat. I personally prefer a four-minute steeping time to allow the full flavor to develop. I’m giving only four stars instead of five because some packages (lots) are better than others. That may be because of variations in the original plants and/or because of changes in my own taste buds.

I first saw Bentley’s E. G. tea in a store, and I was beguiled by the cute square tin packaging. The tea bags are wrapped in inner Mylar bags of 50, so the bags stay fresh. I have quite a few empty tins now that I can’t stand to throw away. I’m trying to re-purpose them. Maybe my husband can make sconces of them! (How many sconces can I use?)

Best Earl Grey I’ve Found
As in coffee, wine, etc. everyone has their personal tastes and preferences. I find Bentley’s Earl Grey tea to be best available, regardless of brand or price. For some people, it may be a bit (or more) to the stronger side; which, I absolutely prefer.

To date, any other brand of Earl Grey has been either OK, disappointing, or just plain horrible. Over the years, I’ve found Bentley’s Earl Grey Tea to be a consistantly great product.

this is the best earl grey that i have ever had. it even rivals loose teas. it has such a lovely aroma and flavor. while many earl grey teas taste like they are flavored with air freshener or chemicals this has a very fresh natural taste. i am thrilled that amazon now carries it since it can be harder to find. try this and you will be ruined for just any earl grey ever again.
