Anise is an herbal tea known as an anti parasitic which can be the best relief for digestive problems, toothache, and menstrual cramps. The anise is also used for the treatment of scabies and lice. The artichoke is another important tea that reduces cholesterol because of its hypolipidemic influence. Practically in the same line of health benefits, the roasted barley is an herbal tea which could influence an increase in blood fluidity, and cleanses blood impurities. Finally, one of the most indispensable herbal tea is most households is Boldo which is used effectively in calming upset stomachs.

The Jasmine tea is actually based on green tea, or Oolong tea which is added by jasmine blossoms for aroma and flavor. The production of the Jasmine tea is quite tedious in the sense that it would take about four hours for the tea base to absorb the flavor and aroma of Jasmine.

The various grades of the varieties of the Jasmine tea are determined by the number of times the process of absorption is repeated. In order to achieve the highest grade, the tea base and the Jasmine flowers are allowed to repeatedly mate in the machines for the perfect aroma and flavor to blend in. When done, the tea must be fired again to avoid spoilage since the tea has absorbed moisture from the flowers also. The final Jasmine tea product may either contain dried flowers that will have no bearing though on the quality of tea.

The Jasmine tea can actually be based on any tea, primarily because the main function of the Jasmine is to add flavor to the tea. There are a number of tea bases such as white, black, and green tea among others that are added with Jasmine to produce variations in the Jasmine tea. Today, the Jasmine tea is not only noted for its wonderful aroma and distinct sweet taste, but also on the soothing effect that it has on people which drink it.

Nice tasting tea, seems to work
I am trying to collect as much milk as possible for when I go back to work full time, and I used it 3 times a day for two days. I did not know what to do from engorgement – I had to feed the baby/pump every 3-4 hours.

Since then, I am having it once a day – just in case.

Love this product!
I’ve been nursing now for almost five months and I drink 2-5 cups of this tea every day. It tastes great, helps me stay hydrated, and helped me ramp up my production on the side that was lacking. I buy this tea for all my new-mommy friends as a “welcome to motherhood” gift.

Licorice flavor
Nice tea either hot or iced with a licorice flavor. While I cannot say it has increased my milk production, it tastes good, and helps me consume more water.

Okay
I don’t know if this does anything to help with milk production or not, but the taste is a little off for me. If you like black licorice, you’ll love it. Otherwise, I suggest a lot of honey!

This tea works for me.
In my experience, this tea seems to help increase and maintain milk production, and also to help ease or prevent clogged or tender ducts. It’s a good price on Amazon compared to full retail at Whole Foods.
